Open Silver Halide Editions and Fine Art Limited Editions
The black and white images cover a 25 year period by award winning photographer Dominique Beyens who has been living and working in Ireland since.
He combines his practice as a painter and his interest with old printing techniques to produce unique fine art prints .
These photographic works are available as open edition silver halide prints and limited edition fine art prints.
Fine Art Carbon Edition
The fine art works are available in white lime wooden frames and are float-mounted. (Frame within a frame)
The paper used is manufactured from pure cotton fibre and has been used for drawing and printmaking for over 500 years.
It is claimed that the paper is so durable that it will remain beautiful and vibrant for centuries without conservation hence the inclusion of the ‘infinity’ sign in the watermark of the paper. The paper is made without acid or optical brighteners and are mould-made and gelatin sized.
The inks used to create the images are 100% carbon pigment and are exceptionally resistant to fading and other deterioration caused by natural elements. This results in prints with the best light fastness and longevity.
Open Edition Silver Halide Photographs
Silver Halide Photographic prints are printed using light-sensitive paper and silver based chemistry, a technology constantly refined for more than a hundred years.
The open silver halide edition is available in both black and white lime wooden frames.
